Load a product file
At the top, select Open file and choose the product file you want to inspect.
- Action
- Select a file and wait for it to finish loading.
- Check
- Loading is complete when the whole product appears in the center of the workspace.
Check front views in 3D and 2D
At the top, select 3D front and 2D front in turn.
- Action
- Check volume in 3D and a perspective-free outline in 2D.
- Check
- Compare the proportions and left-right form in both views with what you expected.
Adjust the view for clarity
Select View settings and adjust brightness, contrast and shading depth to suit the product.
- Action
- Change one setting at a time to compare how the surface appears.
- Check
- The view is ready when edges and contours stand out from the background.
Measure dimensions on screen
Select Measure then select the start and end points on the product.
- Action
- Choose a measurement type and select the two required points precisely.
- Check
- Check that distance, angle or coordinate values appear on screen.
Open a file to start a drawing
Select Open file and select an AI, DXF, 3DM, GLB or STL file.
- Action
- Select a product file and wait for conversion to finish.
- Check
- The workspace is ready when the product is on the left and a blank sheet is on the right.
Place the views you need on the sheet
Orient the product as needed, then select Add view to place it on the sheet.
- Action
- Create front, side and isometric views, and add the required dimensions.
- Check
- Check that views do not overlap and that shapes and dimensions are easy to read.
Export with a transparent background
Select Export and save the sheet as a PNG with a transparent background.
- Action
- Set the background to transparent and download the PNG file.
- Check
- Place it in a document and check that only the product and dimensions appear, without a white rectangle.
Mark an engraving image and its position
Add image to upload an engraving reference image and align it with the product surface.
- Action
- Adjust the image size and orientation, then position it where the engraving should go.
- Check
- Check that the manufacturer can clearly identify the engraving area, orientation and size.
